Who am I?
I am Jerónimo (Jero for short), an argentinian asexual illustrator and comic artist trying his best and working his hardest. Fantasy is my specialty and passion, but I work on a variety of genres and settings, such as supernatural horror and sci-fi. I was born in a small city in Argentina in 2003 and I’ve been drawing dragons and dogs for as long as I can remember, but eventually I started drawing humans as well.
How do I draw?
I went to art classes since I was a kid, then to the Polivalente Art High School (ESEA 1) which gave me a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a Painting Specialization (2020), and studied Illustration in the Instituto de Profesorado de Arte de Tandil (Tandil Institute of Art Teaching) for an Illustrator Technician (2024) and Professional Illustrator (2024) degrees. My main technique is digital art, but I also handle oil painting, various forms of ink, and watercolor. Sometimes I stop drawing (not often). I take inspiration from both classic and modern forms of art, such as Baroque painting, Art Nouveau posters, and modern animation and comics.
What do I do?
I’ve worked on the visuals and rules for a board game named “Rescate al Independencia”, made for the bicentenary of my home city’s foundation in 2023, wrote and drew a Webcomic named “La Gloria de Keteóm” publishing since 2021, made the entirety of my own the graphic novel "Let There Be Hell" (Que Venga el Infierno) in 2024, and carried out several gigs, such as layout, icons, characters and maps for twitch streamers and TTRPG campaigns
